PORTABLE FUN BOX TERRAIN PARK FEATURE - AN AID TO BEGINNING TERRAIN PARK MANEUVERS

Figure 1 is another embodiment of a portable terrain park feature, the portable fun box. The device weighs about 28 pounds and can be carried by an instructor on the chair.

Two bolts that hold together the two riding surface are removed to separate the two halves for deployment on the snow. (Figure 2) The two sections are connected using the sockets at the end and the two transport bolts used to secure the socket joint. (Figure 3)

The portable fun box is then flipped over and mounted on the snow. A small amount of snow is placed at the entry. (Figure 4) The arrows on the device show the direction of travel as there is an entry and exit portion of the device, due to the beveled edges where the surfaces connect. Figures 5 and 6 show view of the portable fun box place on a slope of about 5 degrees.
