THE TOE
BACK AND FRONT
This is the first of the toe turns. Use a trick release when performing toe maneuvers. Assume a comfortable toe position with the rope leg bent for balance and
absorption of waves and wake (Photo 1). Pull in rope leg slightly and rotate upper body counter clockwise looking down when using the right leg as the rope leg (Photo 2). Stop the rotation at 180 degrees from the
original position and bend the rope leg while keeping the back straight for balance (Photo 3).
Relax in the 180 position with back straight up and rope leg bent. To reverse the trick, bend the rope leg slightly
and rotate clockwise (Photos 5 and 6). Assume the normal toe position (Photo 7) but keep the rope foot low and bent to
adjust for any wobbling during the turn.
